Installation Dinner 2014, Goldsmiths’ Hall
A
packed congregation at The Priory Church of St
Bartholomew the Great witnessed the Clothing of
a number of new Liverymen and the Installation of
the Master, Nicholas Birtles, and Wardens for the coming
year. As ever, the choir and organ produced a very special
atmosphere in the service that marks the restarting of our
annual cycle.
After the service our Beadle, Alan O’Connor, led the
Master, Wardens and the Clerk across the busy London
streets towards the Installation Dinner at the impressive
Goldsmiths’ Hall - the Goldsmiths Company being one of
the Twelve Great Livery Companies of the City of London.
