Applications were downloaded such as “See, Touch, Learn”, that uses pictures to help children learn new words and concepts, “Fun with Directions”, which aids the children’s comprehension skills and “Pocket phonic” aims to help children’s speech and articulation. Cause and effect applications such as “Sense Frame” and “Light Box” were also downloaded as these applications are particularly helpful to children who have multiple learning disabilities as they encourage visual attention. CHARITY Children at Red Boots are regularly in competition of using the iPad during their “free play” sessions where the children are allowed to have some free time where they use fun and educational games. This also helps children with emotional aspects of their development such as confidence, self-esteem and motivation.
