special projects The Power of Partnership: Meet Mojdeh Abedi. Partnerships are an important part of how WCC ensures our community benefits from the expertise of specialist services supported by the local experience of community organisations. This year The Salvation Army’s Mojdeh Abedi has worked closely with WCC as part of efforts to prevent and reduce family violence. In 2013 in response to the growing number of WCC clients experiencing family violence, WCC and The Salvation Army Crossroads established a partnership to address family violence. I started coming to WCC once a week to provide specialized family violence support and capacity built staff.
