WHITTLESEA community legal service
We have had another successful year
in responding to our community’s legal
needs, representing the interests of those
facing many obstacles to accessing the
legal system. We have come a long way
since our establishment 10 years ago. We
have agitated and advocated for increased
resources as best we could finding some
success along the way. 10 years on, we have
expanded our services to more effectively
meet population growth and rising
community demand. We now employ 7
salaried lawyers who are assisted by more
than 40 active para-legal volunteers.
