The Town of Waxhaw is conducting a citizen survey as part of a long range Parks and Recreation Master
Plan. The survey was mailed to a scientific sample of town residents. ETC, an independent consulting
company, is administering the survey and compiling the results. This is the same company that conducted
the town-wide survey in 2017. The residents that receive the survey have the option of completing the hard
copy and mailing it back or using the link at the bottom of the survey to complete it online.
If the resident chooses to complete it online, they would need to give their property address as listed on the
paper copy of the survey tool.

The web link that is provided in the survey paperwork is not intended for general public use. We encourage
those who have received the survey to not share the web link, as the responses from individuals outside of
the town limits will not be included in the final summary.
OTHER OPTIONS FOR INPUT:
We are soliciting general public input at upcoming meetings on September 6th. Waxhaw Parks & Rec is
hosting two information sharing drop-in workshops on Thursday, September 6th. Drop by either location
to share your vision for future park development in Waxhaw. Consultants will be there to discuss the Parks
& Rec Master Plan with residents. During these sessions, note/comment cards are provided for feedback as
well as an email address ([email protected]). The times for the workshops are as follows:
THURSDAY SEPT 6TH:
• 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Community Corner near the Water Tower (corner of N. Broome St. &
McDonald St.)
• 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at St. Matthews Catholic Church, located at 4116 Waxhaw-Marvin Rd, Waxhaw,
NC 28173.
