Planning Tools
To protect the precious water supply from disruption due to climate change, drought, and natural disaster, and to
prepare for future demands on the Regional Water System, the SFPUC initiates planning studies to map out current
water resources and future water management strategies. During FY 2015-16, several notable reports were completed.
Final versions of the plans can be accessed at sfwater.org/localwater under Sources and Supply Planning.
