In December , two dozen AWB members joined AWB staff in the third annual D . C . Fly-in to meet with Washington ’ s congressional delegation and learn more about the incoming administration .
“ As a state heavily dependent on trade , employers in Washington are concerned that the issues of the Trans-Pacific Partnership and filling the last seat on the U . S . Export-Import Bank board , both left in limbo when Congress adjourned last December , will continue to hamper opportunities for continued robust trade and hurt future opportunities ,” Johnson said . “ We ’ ll continue working with our state ’ s delegation to ensure Congress understands how important getting Washington goods to overseas markets is to the state and national economy .”
