business backgrounder | education & workforce AWB Institute Welcomes Inaugural Leadership Washington Class Program aims to equip the next generation of leaders. Bobbi Cussins The AWB Institute introduces the nine-member inaugural 2014-15 Leadership Washington class. The class, designed to prepare future industry leaders, will tour the many business sectors that make up the state’s diverse economy and connect with industry leaders. The group had two meetings in 2014 and has four meetings scheduled for 2015. AWB Institute’s Leadership Washington, which kicked off in September, is the premiere training program for the next generation of Washington state industry leaders.
