The campaign has received notice beyond its viewing
audience. The 2017 AWB Grow Here campaign, which
featured M3 Biotechnology, The McGregor Company
and Alaffia, was named a finalist in the 2018 PR
News Platinum Awards in the Public Affairs category
alongside international campaigns by some of the
globe’s top brands and public relations firms, including
FleishmanHillard, IBM and KFC Corporation.
“The finalists of the Platinum and Agency Elite
Awards represent the innovative, risk-taking and
strategic communicators setting the benchmark of
excellence in the communications arena,” said Amy
Jefferies, vice president of marketing for PR News, in
announcing award finalists.
That kind of recognition would not be possible
without the support of AWB members that have
contributed to the campaign and those who agreed to
share their remarkable stories.
