# GrowHere Businesses Built for More The 2019 Grow Here multimedia employer image campaign launched this spring. Bobbi Cussins A new round of AWB’s employer image campaign launched March 4 on television, radio, and digital and social media platforms throughout the state. The ads tell the positive stories of three homegrown Washington employers — MOD Pizza, Lampson International and Alaffia — including the ways in which they’re improving lives and building community, while also reminding audiences of the need to protect the state’s competitiveness. A pizza restaurant. A steel manufacturer. A fair-trade skin care company. A heavy- lift crane builder. At first glance, these businesses don’t appear to have much in common. Dig a little deeper though, and it’s apparent they share many common traits. They’re all home-grown Washington success stories. The entrepreneurs behind the companies all care about far more than just the bottom line. And they’re all featured profiles in AWB’s ongoing “Grow Here” multimedia employer image campaign.
