The event also honored four 2018 manu-
facturing award-winners, which were
announced in October 2018 as part of AWB’s
statewide Manufacturing Week bus tour.
The McGregor Company received the 2018
Manufacturer of the Year award. This family
business was established 136 years ago, and
helps farmers in the Pacific Northwest with
seed, crop inputs, equipment and more to
raise healthy crops.
Pearson Packaging of Spokane took
home the Manufacturing Excellence award
for Innovation. Columbia Pulp earned the
Operational Excellence award, and Great
Western Malting took home the Green
Manufacturing award.
