what’s working
Tim’s Cascade Snacks takes pride in its locally sourced potatoes. The company has several decades-old
relationships with local potato growers.
“We focus on every part of the process
seeing how we can be more efficient and sustainable.
From how our potatoes are washed in the field to
the design of our machines, we look for ways to be
more environmental in every step of our process.”
Tim’s Cascade Snacks has also
expanded its product line. For
example, Tim’s produces, markets
and sells Erin’s All-Natural Popcorn.
It purchased the brand from a small
family-owned Kirkland business in
1999. Tim’s also started a brand of
kettle-style potato chips and onion
rings under the Hawaiian label.
The company ’s flavors have
gained popularity beyond the Pacific
Northwest. Their products can now
be found in 13 states, including
Alaska and Hawaii. Tim’s also sells
its products internationally to
Canada, Japan, Taiwan and South
Korea. Soon, you might see a few of
their products in new areas of the
United States.
“ We a r e n o w b r i n g i n g t h e
