Takeaway: Salt Lake County saw a slight increase in the number of townhomes sold and a minimal decrease in the number of single
family homes and condominiums sold over the past 12 months. With the average sales price of a single family home over $400K,
buyers are turning to more affordable options such as condominiums and townhomes. This quarter marks over a year in which we’ve
seen slight decreases in the number of single family homes and condominiums sold compared to the same time in the previous year.
Continued population growth has strained inventory, however, all property types saw up to an 8% appreciation over the past year.
