Designed in bright whites in a contemporary setting , the air-conditioned space captures a refreshing outdoor feel , incorporating real trees and streams of natural light .
The perfect space for relaxing with friends , the transformed area boasts a deli counter displaying an array of delicious pastries , tarts and quiches , such as the pesto eclair with salmon mousse and wasabi glaze ( THB 160 ), and the Parmesan eclair with Parma ham , Emmental and tomato ( THB 160 ).
The bakery team showcases further skill by preparing tempting made-to-order sandwiches with a choice of freshly baked breads . Choose from the Mediterranean baguette with grilled vegetables , extra virgin olive oil , goats cheese and pesto ( THB 250 ), or the sourdough bruschetta with pesto , whole local burrata , Parma ham and grilled cherry tomatoes ( THB 320 ).
The menu also features an eclectic blend of French-inspired bistro fare with a handful of modern Thai dishes included for good measure . Simple yet creative pasta dishes , crisp salads , as well as cheese and charcuterie boards round up the diverse menu .
To wash all that fresh-baked goodness down , choose between a selection of classic hot beverages , including drip coffee and TWG tea blends , as well as thirst-quenching frappes and shakes . A wonderful selection of beers and wines are also available .

To the untrained eye , serving a cup of drip coffee is a simple task . It ’ s just coffee grounds and hot water , right ? But crafting the ideal brew is so much more complex than that . Depending on how you create your coffee , results can range anywhere between heaven in a cup to bitter and undrinkable . This is why consistency and precision are essential every step of the way .
At Ob Oon Deli & Boulangerie — Patisserie , for example , each cup of drip coffee is measured exactly , starting with the right number of beans , which are ground only once a customer places their order to ensure freshness with each and every pour .
Putahracsa Food and Beverage Manager , Khun Kung explains : “ We use a Vietnamese drip coffee system that takes around 10 minutes to produce one cup of coffee . The freshly ground coffee beans are added into a stainless steel filter system , and only a small amount of hot water is poured on top . This allows the coffee to develop its full flavor , expanding the grains and setting the oils free . After two minutes , the remaining amount of boiling water is poured in . It then takes five to seven minutes until the water has dripped through the filter , resulting in a rich and flavorful coffee .”
