EMBOODHOO LAGOON

For many years , for many people , going to the Maldives was either a once-in-a-lifetime luxury experience or something completely unattainable . But all of that is about to change .

A ground-breaking ceremony was recently held for Emboodhoo Lagoon , a new resort development in the Maldives . While most resorts in the beautiful tropical location concentrate on travelers able to afford the finest luxuries , the target market for Emboodhoo Lagoon includes families and tourists with mid-range budgets . With prices more reasonable , travelers from nearby countries will find it more possible to book repeat trips to the Maldives , too , benefiting both travelers and the country ’ s economy .
Emboodhoo Lagoon will be a multiple-island resort with its own township , a Hard Rock hotel , a Café Del Mar beach club , and a strong focus on F & B outlets as well as other leisure facilities .
Thailand ’ s Singha Estate is heading up the development and management of the unique project , which will bring new life to the tourism industry in the Maldives , and is projected to create over 5,000 job opportunities .
The resort will also feature a marine learning center to promote the culture of the Maldives and conservation schemes to help preserve the delicate marine ecosystem . By the third quarter of 2018 , the first phase of Emboodhoo Lagoon should be completed , which means it won ’ t be long before a dream vacation will become a reality for travelers around the world .
