THE NATIONAL
MUSEUM BANGKOK
Discover ancient relics dating back
to every kingdom that once ruled
Thailand
The National Museum Bangkok sits
amongst the Wang Na Palace, in
which five different deputy kings
have resided since it was built in
1782. Though the structure itself is a
historical wonder, it is what’s inside
that captures the attention of those
who meander through this museum.
Additional buildings have been
constructed over the years to hold
many artifacts showcasing every-
thing from Thai fine arts to archaeolo-
gy, with pieces originating from some
of Thailand’s most dominating king-
doms, including Lanna, Sukhothai
and Ayutthaya. Visitors can feast their
eyes on detailed relics as they make
their way through extensive and im-
pressive grounds
