or an expat woman in Thailand,
frizzy hair, blemishes, and bug
bites probably ring a bell. Living
in a tropical climate increases the
need for self-care; but busy schedules, frequent traveling, and keeping
up with friends and families in different time zones can leave you hard
pressed for time to follow a beauty
routine. What’s a girl to do?
Enter beauty sleep. Here are a few
ways to treat yourself while you’re in
dreamland, with benefits both for your
inner peace and your outer beauty.

late night salty snacks with these
pillow pointers.
1
CHOOSE A
SATIN OR SILK
PILLOWCASE
A silk or satin pillowcase not only
looks fancy but can also keep lines
and creases from forming on your
face as you sleep. (If you’ve ever
headed to the office with obvious
pillow lines on your face, you know
what we are talking about.) Plus, the
slippery fabric will prevent bedhead,
reducing the chances of a bad hair
day in the morning. Goodbye, cotton
pillowcase!

AND CHANGE
THAT
PILLOWCASE
OFTEN
Your pillowcase can harbor dirt, oil,
and bacteria, which contribute to
clogged pores and acne. Change your
pillowcase twice a week to keep the
spots at bay.

PUFFY EYES?
USE AN EXTRA
PILLOW
Salt and alcohol consumption can
both lead to puffy eyes the next day.
