Since the summer palaces were built here, Hua Hin has grown from a sleepy fishing village to a bus- tling city by the water, complete with plenty of activities to keep the whole family smiling. Sure, you can wile away your weekend splashing around in the azure ocean and building sandcastles on the shore, but if kid-friendly action calls, there’s always the selection of water parks to choose from (Vana Nava, Black 56 WANDERLUST Mountain Water Park, and Santorini Water Fantasy), Camel Republic with its thrilling rides and small zoo, the Swiss Sheep Farm where children can bottle-feed calves and ride horses, as well as ATV riding for the older ones.
