very skilled Tracy Pinson and Tuff Night At The Ritz
were the Versatility High Point winners with Tanya
Agan and Moon’s Black Sheba taking reserve. Tuff and
Tracy made the long haul from Bushnell, Florida and
competed in almost all aspects of the versatility part of
the show. Tanya and Black Sheba were not quite as far
away in distance as they hail from Venedy, Illinois.
Youth High Point Riders in the 11 and Under Di-
vision w ere Mallory Johnson who made several good
rides aboard her grandfather s horse, Wicked Times to
garner blue ribbons. Sierra Obert was our reserve high
point youth 11 and under winner.
In the Youth 12-17 Division Emma Wood earned
the High Point Ribbon with Jackson Stephens picking
up the reserve placement. A huge thank you to Mary
Beth Pruett for tallying the high points.
Capping off the show was the Best In Show classes.
The Best In Show (canter) was won by Jessica Hlebak
aboard Lindy Holt’s Labeled A Parolee. The Best In
Show (no canter) was awarded to The Ghost Walker
with owner Joyce Marie Claxton up. This duo is trained
by Dickie Gardner.
Well it was a LONG week filled with excitement,
happiness, successes, disappointments, wonderful
Tennessee Walking Horses, and first time winners that
made the week most interesting. 1,988 entries came
thru the gate and, as I stated it was one for the books,
BUTTTT we loved it and we are already planning
for the 41st or will it be the 43rd INTERNATION-
AL. Make plans to attend---- you will be glad you
did!!!!!
