Judge, Diane McMurtrey is viewing showmanship at its best in Adult
Miss Shelby Finch who has JUST entered the ADULT DIVISION with
her horse of many years, Wise Impact. Shelby started showing “Im-
pact” when she and Impact were sweet young things and have grown
and matured together. The Vic Gernt family owned Impact for years
and generously let Shelby show him in the youth divisions. Seeing the
love this team shared they decided to give Impact to Shelby. Then came
the farm ,then the barn, then the new fences, then the truck, then the
trailer, etc With THORSPORT close to home Shelby just had to bring
Impact out of retirement for a few classes. It was a treat to see them in
the ring again. What a love story!
