WHOA Versatility Show Murfreesboro, Tennessee • May 28 Thorsport hosted an incredible WHOA SHOW May 28th. A huge THANK YOU to the Thorson family who went out of their way to make sure everyone had any and everything that was needed. The facilities are gor- geous and the hosts amazing. The gazebo was a blessing for Tommy and the very capable judge, Diane McMurt- rey (and of course Sissi) with the fan circulating the summer breeze, the cooler of water ready to quench our thirst and the mints if Tommy’s throat got dry announc- ing. Not only did the Thorsons provide the officials with everything BUTTTTT the exhibitors, grooms, and spectators had an amazing lunch of bar-b-que chicken (my personal favorite) pork steak (just WOW!)hot dogs, slaw, pork n beans, chips, peanuts. etc. You name it and it was there for you!!! THANK YOU!   THANK YOU! THANK YOU ! This year the show was moved from the usual Sunday show to Saturday to accommodate the host’s  race car schedule. This change was very popular with the exhib- itors. As I presented ribbons I polled the riders on how they liked the date change and all said they were in favor of the date switch.  SOOOOO this might be a possibility in the future. It was good to see several different exhibitors trying different events from their norm.  They handled trail courses and H20 with ease!!! Once again there were classes in which any of the top 3 could have been the blue ribbon winner and in some; horses left the ring that could have easily carried home a top ribbon.  The horses were that good and WHOA certainly appreciates the trainers and exhibitors bringing good walking horses for us to enjoy. WHOA would like to express their appreciation to the Thorsons for the use of this terrific facility and their incredible hospitality to all. We also want everyone who brought a horse to this good show to know we appreciate you as well. We can’t have a show without horses and it is such a delight to be able to view the good ones we saw at THORSPORT!  THANKS to all!  My personal thanks to Lori Finch for the great pictures while I was occupied elsewhere,  Thank you Lori!!!!! – Sis Osborne Vic Gernt grinning up a storm (yep it really is Vic) with his new horse. Showing off her versatility, Patty Pollack hadn’t spelt a drop UNTIL My Little Black Dress knocked her lovely head  into yours truly carry- ing Patty’s H20 cup!
