During our discussion of the associations’ finances the board accepted and voted on a motion to increase our fees $2.00 per entry. There was also a motion to adjust the “All Day Fee” with the increase of $1.00 per entry. This increase will go in effect May 1, 2017 at WHOA sponsored shows. We have sponsored many shows throughout the years, and as you know, the cost of putting on those shows has increased throughout those years. Cost factors such as facility rentals, judges, DQP’s, travel, ribbons, staff, and awards have all increased. We want to continue having shows thorught the years so that you, the membership, will have a place to show your horses. WHOA memberships have remained the same for the past 20 years and will remain the same for the 2017 season. We thank you for you support of WHOA and hope you understand the position we are facing. Best of luck during the show season and if I can be of service to you, please feel free to contact me. –Tommy Hall, Executive Director 4 • Walking On July 21-29 International Murfreesboro, TN 2017 Rulebook Revisions And Clarifications The Walking Horse Owners Association Board of Directors has made the following revisions and clarifi- cations to the 2017 WHOA Rulebook: 1.
