directed to the win by Kitty Keen, Ada’s daughter. It was very special to see this gorgeous wooden horse fountain presented to Kitty and Dolly. I just know Mrs. Ada and Mrs. Regina were proud as punch of their descendants.  A new break was followed by colts and fun classes as well as very competitive speed events. A young 25-yearold mare, Shadow’s Fancy Cindy and owner Hallie Pollard, whom I hadn’t seen in several years, returned to the International to turn in blistering times claiming the titles in Barrels and Poles. Welcome back Hallie and Shadow’s Fancy Cindy - cute and fast as ever. Day 3 - MONDAY Barely able to get out of bed and drag my tired old self to the show ring. Once there (and after a yummy donut) the morning session was all about the beauty of  the breed. We saw some gorgeous horses in the well-filled morning classes, model entries that popped our eyes open and energized the staff. Monday was also a day the International devoted to the 4 H. The 4 H students filled the classes, I must thank Sarah Keenan for getting the word out that this was THE day for 4 H to show as the International did not charge an entry fee IF a 4 H student showed in a 4 H class. When the show was over TUESDAY morning, the WHOA staff (especially this old doll) were dragging, tired to the bone and happy as loons with the way the show was progressing.
