Germantown Char The 2016 Germantown Charity Horse Show was held June 7-11 at the Germantown Charity Show Grounds in Germantown, Tennessee. This was the 68th edition of this great multi-breed, multi-discipline horse show. Breeds represented at the event included American Saddlebred, Paso Fino, Gypsy Vanner, Racking Horses, and Tennessee Walking Horses. Additionally there were carriage driving and jumping competitions. Blair Knight of Princeton, Kentucky did a fine job of judging the Tennessee Walking Horse and Racking Horse classes. In addition to great compeition, Germantown is known for it’s excellent shopping as a multitude of vendors set up their wares each year at the show. This year’s show was no exception and exhibitors and spectators alike were treated to a wide variety of retail opportunties. With beautiful weather throughout, this year’s Germantown Charity Horse Show was an overwhelming success. Congratulations to the exhibitors and kudos to the show organizers and staff.
