WHOA Pleasure Jamboree
THE WHOA Pleasure Jamboree, held at
the Miller Coliseum in
Murfreesboro, was a
rousing success with 366
Entries for the two nights.
Horses from the following 18 states participated:
Arkansas, Arizona, Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky,
Michigan, Mississippi,
Missouri, North Carolina,
Ohio, Oregon, Montana,
Rhode Island, Tennessee,
Texas, Virginia.
For an early spring
show the horses were
fabulous in their gaits and
their presentation. They
looked as if they had been
showing for months
WHOA has endured
some criticism lateley but
honestly folks we must be
doing something right as
our shows have been filled
with wonderful walking
horses. The exhibitors appear to be enjoying themselves and the opportunity to show their sound flat
shod horses with friends
and family. The USDA has
been present at several
of our shows and still the
shows have been filled
with entries. All in all I
think WHOA is establishing a place to show
your walking horse and
have a good time.
