Easter week-end---Spring break--WHOA Show! It was wonderful
for all. The predicted bad weather
gave us a break, actually providing
us with a warm sunny day in which
to show a horse. I am amazed that
our horses looked so very nice after
a long cold winter. These flat shod
horses are walking and shaking and
taking care of business. True, some
displayed some friskiness but keep
in mind, they are young and it is
right after a LONG winter. A wonderful show it was with 153 entries
entering the ring at the lovely Clearview farms location. Many thanks to
Marie Lloyd for providing us the use
of this indoor arena.
A huge shout out to two valuable helpers at the March WHOA
Schooling and Academy Show: new
friend, Jason Hambrick (of Joe
Lester Stables) and long-time friend/
daughter, Jan Keyser. Both of these
individuals gave freely of their time
to open and shut the gate and hand
out ribbons. BOTH tasks are man-
datory and when folks step up to
do these not so glamorous tasks it is
VERY much appreciated. Honestly,
we could not have managed without
your help. THANK YOU!
Patsy Newberry is always a valuable center ring addition and when
she brings that TERRIFIC food?????
Well there is just none better!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as I am pointing fingers
REMEMBER that at a WHOA
