Bits and Pieces Tennessee Walking Horse Entertains and Educates at Ag In The Classroom WHOA member Mary Beth Pruett reports that her gelding Red (a.k.a. I’m The Stormwatch) was a huge hit at Ag In The Classroom Day. Throughout the day, which was devoted to teaching third graders about agriculture, Red did his best to interact with each and every student, giving them the opportunity to get up close and personal with a Tennessee Walking Horse. Support the Metro Nashville Park Police Word has recently come in that the Metro Nashville Park Police are in need of donations. They are seeking level-headed, trained Tennessee Walking Horse geldings between the ages of four and ten years old and over 14 hands. They are also currently raising funds to purchase new saddles and tack. All donations are tax free. To learn more please contact Sgt. Kevin Hooper at Kevin.Hooper@ nashville.gov or 615-880-3429.
