WHOA Dispatch
WHOA Register of Merit Invitation
Please consider this an invitation to
all flat shod WHOA Members to join
the WHOA Register of Merit Program!
Many members are under the false
impression that this WHOA Program
is only for versatility horses. However,
any flat shod horse and its rider may
participate in the ROM program and
accrue points from any show using a
licensed Judge.
You may earn points in many different categories such as Trail Pleasure, Lite
Shod, All Day Pleasure, Country Plea-
sure, Pleasure Driving, Model, Jumping,
and Promotion. These are just a few
examples of the many categories.
It is true that in order to complete
for the highest award, THE Register Of
Merit, the team will have to compete in
some versatility categories but a person
may compete in just one specific division
and earn certificates in that one category
for the year thus gaining recognition for
achievements at the WHOA Award Banquet. The ROM Program is not connected to the WHOA High Point Program.
The requirements are simple: the rider
and owner must be WHOA members
and must keep their WHOA membership current to accrue points. The horse
being used must be registered.
To enroll, simply email the following
information to me at [email protected]
