Star At The Ritz and Meredith Thessen

Pleasure 6 Years Old and Over and looked
very attractive in the blustery wind all bundled up in her hot pink jacket and matching
saddle pad. Jason Crawhorn trains Star At

The WHOA Brownsville Horse
Show was a honey of a show. Serving as Judge for the last show of the
Franklin/Brownsville series was
Glenda Kirkland who did a proficient job of this important assignment.
Each and every blue ribbon winner received a pint of Pure Honey
locally produced by Poppy’s Bees.
Barry Cowles of Chalybeate KY is
the owner of Poppy’s Bees. You can
go online to find Poppy’s Bees or call
Barry at 270-799-5106.
This honey is absolutely
the bees knees! AWESOME HONEY! Every
rider did their best to
make a blue ribbon ride.
Thanks to the Starnes
family for obtaining this
honey.
The 4- H Club of
Edmundson County
furnished delicious
soup, chili dogs, homemade sweets, etc. These
4-Her’s must have had a
competition going to see
who would get the blue
ribbon for the tastiest
entry. Personally, I tried several of
their offerings and all deserved to
win. YUM!
A big shout out to Mallory Johnson and Delaina Northern for their
great help. These two young girls
served as ribbon girls and knew just
what order to put the ribbons in and
who received which ribbon. Terrific
help! THANK YOU!
Old man winter was trying his
best to get a foot in the door and
stay! Cold, blustery wind blew all
day long with a very few glimpses of the sun. The exhibitors were
bundled up but came to show and
stayed till the end. The horses were
frisky due to the cold, blowing wind
but were still walking and shaking
their heads. In spite of the adverse weather conditions everyone
seemed to be having a good time
and enjoying theirselves.
