VPHS made them hers as well. One of the organisers for the Matric dance, she has consistently provided special memories and invaluable behind the scenes input to the Matric Dance committee over the years she has taught at the school. In addition, Theresa is one of the teachers responsible for training and guiding the new councillors every year. Her dedication and tireless effort have been instrumental in producing some of VP’s finest young leaders to date. Theresa is one of the teachers who has learned to lay out the magazine, and her contribution to this publication will be sorely missed. On a personal note, she will be sorely missed by the bus tribe! We wish you well Mrs van der Merwe and hope you will return as often as possible to visit us. “In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” Abraham Lincoln Mr Jordan Ross and Mrs Genevieve Cotton 25
