VPHS Sound & Lighting cious buffet meal and an awesome night of dancing and entertainment. The JCC Ball was a great fundraiser and many of the funds raised will be donated to, and used for, many charities. Our final project for 2014 was our annual Grannies’ Tea at the Park Drive Old Age Home. The residents joined us eagerly for tea and eats and entertainment. The councillors had a wonderful time chatting with the grannies and making some new “old” friends. I have loved every minute of my JCC tenure and I am sad to see it come to an end, but I look forward in anticipation to all the wonderful things this amazing organisation will do in the future. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Ms Meyer for her endless guidance and support and to congratulate Sikho Gaika, the new Senior Councillor and Head of Fundraising as well as Husnaa Sampson, the new junior representative.
