Within this special occasion, we organized the 5th Food safety and zoonoses symposium for Asia Pacific combination with Global Health Institute – Thailand 2018 in collaboration of OIE Collaborating Centre for Veterinary Services Capacity Building of Center for Animal Health and Food Safety (CAHFS), University of Minnesota, Freie Universität Berlin and Veterinary Public Health Centre for Asia Pacific (VPHCAP), and Excellent Centre of Veterinary Public Health, Chiang Mai University provides an opportunity for participants from university, government and industry sectors to meet together with faculty from the University of Minnesota, Freie Universität Berlin and academic institutions in Thailand to examine the impact of globalization on health and identify strategies that support a healthy and productive global workforce.
