Welcome Message for the 2nd VPHCAP
e-Newsletter
Time has passed quickly after the 1st edition has been sent out and was welcomed as we learnt from the feedback we received.
Meanwhile we have enjoyed an exciting event “The Global Health Institute 2015” at Chiang Mai in February 2015 where the FAO Reference Centre for Veterinary Public Health (VPH) of the Freie Universität Berlin was one of the co-organisers.
Our joint MVPH master students left for their home countries Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar and China or stayed at home in Thailand for the practical field work of their master theses. They are progressing well and we are expecting them back in Chiang Mai in April with lots of good results and data in their “backpack”; then thesis completion should not be of major concern to all involved.
We from the partner faculty at the Freie Universität Berlin are very much looking forward to meet again our friends, colleagues and students for the Study Analysis Workshop in May in Chiang Mai.
