International Master of Public Health Program (iMPH)

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University (CMU) has collaboration with The School of Public Health (SPH), University of Minnesota (UMN), USA to conduct the Master of Public Health Program on Global One Health (International Program). This program provides students with an in depth understanding of public health principles and practice focusing on Global One Health and application of this approach to specific challenges in planning, delivery and management of health services in an international context. The MPH program aims to;

1. Demonstrate understanding of public health issues focusing on a One Health approach that includes a cross disciplinary

and cross-border perspective.

2. Assess global drivers of reform in health systems and influence their potential impacts on future public health policy

directions in both developed and developing countries.

3. Systematically assess and evaluate health needs of populations using a One Health approach.

4. Apply the research process to the study of public health

This program has begun since October 2013 and now there are 3 students in the program.
