Vorys participates in and supports numerous organizations known for fostering greater diversity and inclusion. We
recognize here several of our lawyers and staff who dedicate their time to furthering the important missions of these
organizations.
YWCA Columbus – Vorys is a proud and longtime supporter of the YWCA Columbus. Alycia Broz currently serves on the
organization’s board and served as the board’s chair from 2015-2016. The YWCA Columbus is dedicated to eliminating racism,
empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
Commercial Real Estate Women – Jennie Church was elected by the membership of the Cleveland chapter earlier this
year as the president-elect. CREW Cleveland provides business networking, professional development and community
outreach opportunities for its members and those who support them.
Association of Women Attorneys Foundation – Akilah Craig currently serves as secretary and trustee for AWAF, a non-profit
organization composed of attorneys, judges, and law students who are interested in promoting women and the interests of
women in Houston’s legal community.
Hispanic National Bar Association – Henrique Geigel was recently elected to serve as the president of HNBA
Region X, which includes Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee. HNBA strives to diversify the legal profession; advocate
for civil rights and liberties, for access to justice and education, and for the economic development and professional
advancement of Latinos.
