Lucille
Lucille has early onset dementia and moved to Abbeyfield when it became too difficult to live on her own.
She has always worked with children and was sad to give this up, so Abbeyfield helped her find a volunteering
role with young people in the local community.

The only thing I have ever wanted to do since school was work with children
and I am so grateful for the chance to do this again.
“
Lucille volunteers with the local Rainbows group and loves the time she spends with the children each week.
The House Manager of Lucille’s Abbeyfield home says:
