Playful m e d i tat i o n A play-dough meditation, by Andrew Harrison   First, turn your play-dough into a heart and tell God in the moment what is there pray   Turn your play dough into a cross and thank the Lord that he has those things in control pray   It says in Isaiah that there will be a day that the sword will turn into ploughshare. Turn your play-dough into a symbol of violence and pray for those who are perpetrators of war. Pray for God’s mercy over them and a new heart   pray     Now turn your play-dough into a symbol of change (it could be a ploughshare, or something that you feel is positive). If you feel prompted by the Holy Spirit, share what you have made and thank God for it pray   Place your play-dough on the ground in front of you and pray for those who are empty, for those who suffer from poverty, and those who suffer from loneliness   pray   Pick up your play-dough and create a symbol of unity and thank God for the different faith communities who help bring that change. Thank God for the Body of Christ and pray that it will continue to bring relief to those who need it. pray     Turn your play-dough into a dream you have pray Then turn that play-dough into your understanding of what God looks like and thank God that when we rejoice in him, he will give us the desires of our heart pray prayer 9
