Welcome to

Obscure Adventures Magazine.

Obscure Adventures is committed to making every effort to be accurate in our reporting. However, at times we may make mistakes so please feel free to contact us so that we can remedy any errors.

What to expect from us...

Obscure Adventures Magazine is dedicated to introducing sportsmen and women to outdoor opportunities relating to hunting and fishing that are a little less mainstream. In many areas of the United States, as well as around the world, there are species that prove to be ecological threats and the efforts of concerned sports-men help keep these species in check.

All pursuits in these pages are legal and we will inform readers of seasons, restrictions, etc... We hope that this magazine will serve to educate and entertain readers and we will share links to additional information where possible to allow even more exploration.

We'd like to hear from you...

In this section we'd like to share your feedback, reactions and stories relating to the magazine in general, as well as specific articles. We plan to highlight positive and negative feedback as appropriate to help us continue to make this publication better.

We'd like to help you out...

If you are already involved in an activity and you have invested

the time and effort to become a

professional guide/outfitter, let us know who you are and we'll add you to our online directory.

Would you like to advertise with Obscure Adventures...

We would love to help promote your products and services. Please contact us to learn more about our advertising structure and costs.

Have an idea for an article...

Our pages will be filled with interesting adventures every month, but if you have an idea for an article that you would like to see featured please let us know.

If you would like to see your name in the byline we can make arrangements for you to submit an article of your own.

We'd love to see your pictures...

Every great magazine communicates as effectively through pictures as it does through prose. We'll do our best to provide these images and we welcome your high-quality submissions as well.

We prefer pictures of fish and game that reflect the animals with dignity. Please avoid sending pictures with excessive amounts of blood. We understand the graphic nature of some of these pursuits, so please use your best judgment. Any photos used will receive full credit and if you have a link to a site where a reader can learn more please include it.

Want to contribute to Obscure Adventures Magazine?

At the time of this publication we are actively seeking indi-viduals that would be willing to

contribute to our Regional Reports section. We are looking for

information relating to public events, tournaments and tournament results, law changes, new state records, and points of interest from each respective region. If you feel that you could actively monitor your region and consistently contribute this information, please contact us immediately. Please see this month's Regional Reports section for a breakdown of the states included in each region. If warranted we may break the regions down even more.

Thank you for spending time with Obscure Adventures. We will do our best to provide value and entertainment in return.
