duty soldiers so that we can pray for them. By name!

Join us in praying for fallen soldiers who have
died for our freedom and for the unborn who
are not free to live.
Families may bring long-stemmed flowers to
place at the Shrine in memory of an infant or
child, or a fallen soldier.

Youth in grades 5 – 7 are invited to attend meetings the
second Saturday of each month in the youth room.
Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.
Teens in grades 8 – 12 are invited to attend CYO
meetings the 4th Saturday of every month in the youth
room. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.
UPDATE FROM ZACHARY OBURU!
Dear Fr. Mike,
I write to you with great joy as well
as with deep gratitude for all you have
continued to share with me as a friend
an elder brother, and a Spiritual
Father.
I would like to update you about the
financial support I received from you
and the VOL family towards the acquisition of means of
transportation for my priestly ministry in Uganda.
After I recently received the money, I put together with
the initial fraction I had and went to the Car Dealership in
Uganda’s Capital to look into the vehicle I had identified.
With God’s guidance, I came across a good pre-owned 4WD
Toyota Mini-Van. I had just enough to pay for the
registration fees, new tires, and road insurance.
It is now 11 days since I brought the van with me to the
parish of my assignment, and I am already using it to reach
Christians in the Mission churches, bringing them
sacraments.
Once again, thank you so much for everything. I am very
thankful too for the generosity of the entire VOL family and
for their wonderful and caring hearts.
