Up next, the Texas Bowfishing Association has two tournaments in April. Up first on April 11 is the 8th Annual Gar Bonanza near Palestine, TX.
On April 25 is the Texas Bowfishing Association (TBA) Texas State Championship. This day shoot runs from 8am-8pm with a guaranteed payout of $2,000 for 1st place.
Arkansas
The Bowfishers of Arkansas (BOA) are hosting their Tri-State Tournament on April 25
SOUTHWEST
Arizona
The Arizona Bowfishing Association is hosting the Man and Woman Happening on May 2 at the Main Marina boat ramp at Rosey. 8 am to 3 pm. The cost is $50 per team.
One man and one women have to be designated shooters, but the entire family can be in the boat. This is a Big 5 format. 1st,2nd, and 3rd place plaques, plus a big fish plaque will be awarded.
NORTH CENTRAL
Wyoming
As of January 1, 2015 it is now legal to use lights for fishing at night in the state.
Kansas
The Kansas Bowfishing Night Series will be starting up on April 11 at El Dorado Lake.
Colorado
The Colorado Bowfishing Association (COBF) is hosting a tournament on Prewitt Reservoir on May 2. This is a day tournament.
