A message from Secretary-Treasurer John Grant: Celebrating the Long Walk After 36 years as President and 64 years as a union member, President Rick Icaza is retiring. President Icaza did more than just lead this union—he set an example and built a team. His vision as a leader helped put our union in the strongest position in years. Financially we are strong, but even more important our reserve of leadership, organizing teams, and member leaders is deeper and stronger than ever. His vision in building a team that can continue this in his absence is only one of his many great contributions to our union, which are too many to list here. Rick never stopped, never paused in his long walk for the members. Rick Icaza—se presente!
