If you’re reading this you’ve successfully survived the destruction of the fabric of morality in Europe. Give yourself a pat on the back for being a survivor of my artwork and the evil emanating from all of us at Vive Charlie. Either you’re the last man or woman standing or, more likely, this was all just hot air escaping from a blow up Babushka sex-doll.

What did I do this time? You guessed it. I drew a picture. I drew a picture so heinous that it was as bad as, no WORSE than, murder.

Speaking of murder there was a murder that not many people knew about. A Russian nanny beheaded a 4yo little girl. Although the story was covered by the newspapers none of the UK’s main TV news channels covered it. This infuriated me for 2 reasons: 1. The media were ignoring another jihadi slaughter in the name of Islam. 2. They ignored that a child, a CHILD, was beheaded. The child was called Anastasia (Nastya) Meshcheryakova and she was murdered because her nanny followed the ‘Religion of Peace’ and the media didn’t want us to know. It was because the media didn’t want us to know about the nanny that I decided to draw her. If I’d been Maryam Namazie I would’ve stripped naked and demonstrated to draw attention to the murder. As it happens I’m a caricaturist and to make my point I draw pictures. I used my skills with a pencil, rather than my naked body, to depict, as best I could, what had happened. Unfortunately many people in Russia assumed we were celebrating the murder and that JihadistJoe and I were actually jihadis. Vive Charlie received hundreds of Russian death threats. Olga Batalina MP and Lawmaker Irina Yarovaya both condemned my drawing but NOT the actual murder and, ironically, called me evil and no different to a criminal. Russia should be very afraid if her lawmakers think drawing a picture of a real event is criminal! Whilst the Russian MP complained that we were ‘destroying the fabric of morality in Europe’ there were a dozen or so Russians that thanked us. They thanked us because Russian TV channels had also surpressed the news of Nastya’s murder. So whilst I’m sorry Russians misunderstood the image I certainly do not regret drawing ‘Nanny Jihadeee’. If only 1 person learned of Nastya’s murder as a result of my drawing, or the reaction to my drawing, then my message worked.

Drawing a picture of a murder is not committing a murder and receiving death threats is not the same as being murdered. It scares me that we live in an age where a sentence like that has relevance and isn’t completely absurd. When a drawing causes more outrage than the murder of a child there is something very, very wrong happening within society.

Remember Nastya Meshcheryakova even if it’s for no other reason than the powers-that-be didn’t want you to even know she’d existed. Nastya existed and she mattered.
