impact on our community and the nation as a whole.
GLMS was recently given the privilege of learning about the brave men and women who
work to address violence and its effects across our Louisville community. We want to
share a few of their stories with you because too often those who strive to make a positive
difference are overshadowed.
In the following pages, you’ll not only read of volunteers and physicians who have dedicated
their lives to helping damaged people deal with trauma; You will also see how the city is
organizing relief and response efforts to affect positive change across the region for years
to come. Our hope is that by broadcasting these great services to a larger audience, we
