Remembering our Deceased
Each November, Visitation of Our Lady
Church opens its Book of the Dead, in which
parishioners may write the names of deceased loved
ones for whom they would like prayers.
The book is brought up at the offertory
procession during Masses and placed on a small
table in front of the altar for the duration of Mass.
After Mass, it will be returned to the podium in the
vestibule for continued use.
You are welcome to add the names of your
deceased loved ones in the Book of the Dead before
Masses.
