2020: year of the
2020 IS A BIG YEAR FOR WOMEN’S HISTORY. It marks the centennial of the 19th
Amendment to the Constitution, which granted women the right to vote. Many local
attractions and institutions have taken the milestone as a moment to create female-centric
celebrations in what some are dubbing the Year of the Woman.
Expect plenty of female-focused exhibits, commemorations and more to be announced in
