THE CHAIRMAN’S CORNER
2016 has seen our club have another successful trading
year. This could not have been achieved without you,
our members. We thank you for your continued support.
September saw the one-year anniversary of our highly
popular children’s activity centre, Tabatinga. The way
members and the wider community have endorsed this
concept has pleasantly surprised both management
and the board.
September also saw our Club receive four awards from
the Macleay Valley Business Awards covering: Best Tourism attraction for
Hotel and Clubs, Employee of the Year, Best New Business; and Excellence in
Innovation for Tabatinga. Following this success, Tabatinga went on to win at
the regional awards and is a finalist in the NSW State Business Awards in Sydney
which will be held late November (outcome not announced prior to print),
so fingers crossed...
These awards and our fantastic revenue results have been achieved thanks to
the efforts of our friendly and dedicated staff.
On behalf of our management, staff and the Board, I wish you all a Merry
