CAN ' T STAND DOING THIS ANYMORE

I just burned out on competing and had to change my mind and view on kiteboarding again , I was in quite a crisis thinking ‘ fuck what now , I ’ m 22 and can ’ t stand doing this anymore ..’ ( this , meaning practicing airtricks , about 7 different for a whole year to get as consistent and to go as big as possible just for competition scores ).
Together with Sam Van Olmen , who has been a close friend since I was 10 , and I just knew it was the perfect timing to start the Mowgli ’ s Jungle serie again , do what I wanted to really do , and Sam too movie wise , for a whole year and to get my stoke back overall on kiteboarding .
Sam and I wanted to produce content that would ‘ keep it ’ s value ’. There is so much content online everyday everywhere , that we wanted to focus on the quality of the content . Sharing a story , a view , a perspective , high quality and watchable for everybody . Film about 3 times longer than average and set the bar to high .

Red Bull jumped on my idea from the start and Liquid Force Kites was supporting it too , It was a big relief to get the backing . Sam and I pushed to get all our content in 4K , we could have as well just chilled out more and made everything 1080P , it would definitely have simplified things and would have cost a bunch less money from the start .. but it just didn ’ t felt right and we listened to our inner voice . It turned out perfect since via via SES Satellites heard about our project and stepped in as a project sponsor . SES is into 4K broadcasting and data transferring via Satellites , they wouldn ’ t have any interest in our project if we didn ’ t went with our inner feeling . That is what happens when you go with the flow I strongly believe .
