With glass as such a prime design element we were conscious from the outset of the need to determine the correct type of glass to maintain the visible light transmission while ensuring a high performing envelope. Viridian contributed to these discussions very early with recommendations, samples and so on and we were able to consider options on how to actually make this building work to its optimum. So each elevation is really a subtly distinct skin by virtue of that glazing choice? It is. We needed the correct glazing for the correct application.
