This month Contrails returns to Virtual United Airlines. Contrails first began in 2013 at the start of the virtual airline. Contrails was created to inform Virtual UA pilots about news within the virtual airline and the flightsim community. As times changed and staff within the airline have come and gone. Contrails was then left without an editor. Contrails became a forgotten part of the virtual airline. The start to 2016 was a positive one for Virtual UA. The start of Virtual Project Forward campaign set to grow the airline in 2016 both within the flight sim community and the Virtual UA community. During this time period, the idea of contrails had come back to the airline.Throughout the months of February and March Virtual United Staff began to contemplate the idea of creating Contrails. By April, Virtual UA hired a Contrails Editor. Development of the project began midway through the month of April into May. June will mark the first publication of Contrails in a very long time. This edition of Contrails will start a new era in the magazine’s history. What can you expect from Virtual United Contrails? Contrails will include many topics taking place within the flight sim and Virtual UA community. Topics that may be covered in future editions of Contrails may include: Reviews of products, Tips and Tricks, flight sim news, and much more. Contrails is set to publish the first Monday of every month following this edition of Contrails. Screenshots are always welcomed to be sent into Contrails. Screenshot contests will be held exclusively for Contrails each month. The winner each month will be featured on the cover of the magazine and the Contrails forum.
