“Ok, Flores, start gathering damage reports from
all decks. Zarva, you get down to main engineering and
get working on those plasma injectors. I shouldn’t have to
remind you that there’s a Klingon Battlecruiser out there
that’s probably making repairs a lot faster than we are!”
Face like flint, Zarva nodded her head gravely and headed
for the turbolift.
“Odok, help T’Vrell get the communications array
back online. If you have to, divert power from life-support.
We’re going to finish this battle, but we can use all the
help we can get.”
“Aye, Captain,” he said.
After a few minutes, Elisa said, “Captain, we’ve
got 25% power restored. Shields are up and sensors are
online.”
The intercom beeped. “Zarva to Bridge.”
“Go ahead,” I said.
“Captain, we’ve got one of the plasma injectors
back online. The warp core is now operating at 25% capacity. It’s not much, but enough to get us back on main
power.”
“Good job. Keep working and I’ll keep you informed on our situation.”
“Captain, the comm array just came back online,”
T’Vrell said. “We have long distance communications.
Sending a distress signal now.”
“Bad news,” Elisa called. “The Klingon battlecruiser just cloaked.”
